This is no ordinary road bike tour—it’s a journey that awakens all your senses, carrying us from the sun-dappled hills of the Langhe to the Monferrato area.
From the very first pedal stroke, the air is filled with the rich scent of vineyards and the earthy aroma of rolling fields. The quiet country roads wind past villages where centuries of history whisper from every stone, every piazza, every ancient church. Sunlight dances across the hills, the tires hum along the asphalt, and the gentle breeze brushes your face as you ride deeper into the heart of Piedmont.
We wander through the Low Langhe, visiting villages that have given their names to some of the world’s most celebrated wines: Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera d’Alba, Diano d’Alba, Dolcetto d’Alba, and many more. With every sip, every taste, the land reveals itself—the earthy richness of black truffles, the delicate aroma of white truffles, the creamy indulgence of local cheeses, the flavors of traditional recipes that have been perfected over centuries.
We move in a small, intimate group of no more than seven riders, accompanied at every turn by our attentive Van Assistance. Each evening, our hand-picked accommodations welcome us with warmth and charm, offering a moment of rest, a glass of wine, and a chance to savor the day’s memories. Every detail is crafted to make this journey not just a bike tour, but a full immersion: a story you feel in your lungs, see with your eyes, and taste on your tongue, a journey that leaves the heart full and the spirit soaring.

Our Piedmont bike tour begins. After an energetic breakfast based on organic products, we start to pedal south.
We ride through an incredible landscape of rolling hills surrounded by vineyards, visiting typical old villages, here we are in the Barolo wine production area.
This is a perfect cycling holiday spot, a continuous up and down ride, where we start our amazing bike experience. We stop in some of the famous characteristic villages to have a delicious “capuccino and cornetto”. Cerreto Langhe, Monforte d’Alba, Barolo, Diano d’Alba some of these enchanting little towns where we go through peaceful back roads. A delicious dinner tasting local organic wine closes this first day.
Our Bike tour today takes us in the southeast Langhe area. Departing from Alba we head to our first town of the day: Canelli. This area and the Asti Spumante white wine, was appointed a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014.
Keeping on riding we meet other interesting, important old towns: San Stefano Belbo, Bubbio, Benevello and many more. We enjoy an unforgettable cycling day, far from the traffic and deep in a fairy tale atmosphere. We can’t miss our daily “espresso and cappuccino” in some of these old village squares. This evening we deserve to drink a refreshing “Spritz” as an appetizer, just before a rewarding and delicious dinner.
Today we leave the enchanting hills of the Langhe behind and ride eastward, toward another exclusive land of world-renowned wines: the Monferrato.
Soft rolling hills and tiny hilltop villages unfold before us, setting the scene for a new day on the bike. Our journey wouldn’t be complete without a coffee stop in a historic piazza—sitting at a small table, savoring a creamy cappuccino, and soaking in the essence of the famous Italian Dolce Vita.
A leisurely lunch break gives us the energy we need for the second part of our day, leading us gently toward our final destination: a luxury hotel where we can indulge in well-earned rest and enjoy a delicious dinner crafted from local, traditional flavors.
After our customary breakfast, another incredible adventure awaits us, perched atop our bicycles. Pedal by pedal, we will set out to discover a truly unique land: Monferrato, a region in Piedmont where history and legend seem to float side by side.
Its story stretches back over a thousand years, yet the area’s fame has soared in recent times, especially since 2014, when the UNESCO Committee recognized it, together with the neighboring Langhe and Roero, as a World Heritage Site.
Gentle hills, quiet country roads, and villages steeped in history will be the companions of our journey, guiding us through a day made to be savored, pedal by pedal, moment by moment.
We have arrived at the final stage of this unforgettable journey. Today, our path leads us first to the enchanting town of Canelli and then to the village of Monastero Bormida.
Canelli, a hidden gem in the Asti region of Monferrato, greets us with its sparkling wines, historic wineries, and ancient towers and castles. Every corner whispers stories from centuries past, inviting us to step into a living postcard of history. As we pedal along, the gentle hills and sun-dappled streets seem to hum in harmony with the rhythm of our journey.
From Canelli, we continue toward Monastero Bormida, a charming village perched between the Monferrato hills and the Langhe. Here, time seems to slow, revealing centuries-old architecture, quaint streets, and the warm aromas of traditional cuisine that fill the air. Each moment feels like a delicate blend of history, culture, and the simple joy of discovery.
Our adventure concludes with a leisurely dinner at our accommodation. As we raise our glasses, we toast not only to our health but to the memories we’ve made, the beauty we’ve shared, and the promise of many journeys yet to come.
